KNEUS undertook RNTCP with Designated Microscopy Centre (DMC) at Salarpur- Bhangel in G.B Nagar Dist. for a population of one lakh.

• OPD-Daily Diagnosis
• Pathology Lab
• Designated Microscopy Centre-Sputum tests of the suspected patients.
• DOTs Centre-Monitoring of the treatments--Daily Regimen.
• Nikshay - Enrolment of TB patients
• Referral of patients to ICTC Centre for HIV test.
• Address verification of the registered patients through home visits by health workers.
• Community meeting.
• Awareness creation programs
• Periodical reporting to District Tuberculosis Society.

• To mobilization of local political commitment and resources for TB.
• To improved case detection and treatment adherence.
• To empower people and communities affected by TB.
• To reduce stigma and discrimination against persons and families affected by TB.
• To identify, train, and supervise volunteers who will be providing DOT.
• To provide RNTCP treatment to patients at a time and places accessible and acceptable to patients.
• To ensure that treatment is provided strictly as per RNTCP policy, free of charge to patients for any service rendered.
• To ensure that DOT providers maintain records as per RNTCP policy.
• To organize medical care for side effects at appropriate health services.
• To assist in providing continuity of care for referred or transferred patients.

• Saturday 08:00 am to 12:00 noon
